About Us

VISION:

To build better communities in Uganda through mobilizing people to get involved and fully participate in the issues that affect us.

We are a not-for profit community organization whose goal is to improve the quality of life of Ugandans through;

  • Mobilizing people to get involved in every issue that affect us as a community.
  • Creating awareness and disseminating important information about the activities we are involved in.
  • Identifying challenges and solutions together as a community.
  • Caring for one another.

What drives us?

As a people created by God, we have everything we need to make our lives better. Constantly reporting and lamenting about problem after problem without necessarily participating in finding solutions will not change the situation. We strongly believe that if we see a challenge, and together as a community use our God given abilities to find solutions, we can make a difference in people’s lives.

The starting point is to acknowledge that there is a problem, this is very important, then we discuss the possible solutions, this is a participatory approach, where community members get involved and work towards a common goal, but also ensure sustainability. This is what will bring about healthy communities and finally transformation of people’s lives.

Founder – Jacqueline Namyalo

My passion is to see the quality of life of Ugandans improved. This can happen if we change our mindsets and the way we perceive certain things. We need to learn to take individual responsibility about the issues that affects us and stop the blame game. For example health is an individual’s responsibility first, keeping the environment safe and secure is an individual’s responsibility first etc.
